Golden Bay Personal Plates TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.     RECORDAL

Golden Bay Personal Plates hereby sells the product to the User on the terms and conditions herein contained which terms and conditions the User is deemed to have familiarized himself/herself with and to have irrevocably accepted.

2.     INTERPRETATION

In these terms and conditions:
   2.1 "the Customer" means the party who has purchased the product.
   2.2 "the product" means a personalized registration number plate (PRN), a specialized registration number plate (SRN) or an ordinary registration number plate (ORN), whichever the case may be.

3.     WESTERN PROVINCE TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Customer acknowledges that he has read and understood the Western Province Terms & Conditions relating to PRN. SRN and ORN number plate’s, and that Golden Bay Personal Plates will not be held responsible for any failure on the Customer's behalf to adhere to these said Terms & Conditions.

4.     GOODS AND SERVICES

All goods and services supplied by Golden Bay Personal Plates remains the property of Golden Bay Personal Plates until such times as all moneys are paid in full.

5.     Golden Bay Personal Plates STANDARD SERVICE

Standard Service refers to the following:
   5.1 Golden Bay Personal Plates will not be held responsible for any incorrectly spelt plates on the order form, made by the Customer.
   5.2 Golden Bay Personal Plates will not be liable for any changes the Customer wishes to make, once registration of the plates have taken
         place.
   5.3 Golden Bay Personal Plates, on receipt of a completed order form, a copy of the vehicle owner's Identification papers and the vehicle's
         registration papers, will register the requested number plate (subject to availability).
   5.4 Once the number plate has been registered, Golden Bay Personal Plates will then inform the customer, either by email or fax, on which
         date he/she may go and collect and license the new plates to his/her/company vehicle.
   5.5 Time period for information of collection date varies according to speed of the Gauteng Registering Department.
   5.6 It is then the responsibility of the Customer to go to the relevant licensing authority, within the 21 day period and collect
         the new plates and license them to the vehicle.

6.     Golden Bay Personal Plates PREMIERE SERVICE 

   6.1 Golden Bay Personal Plates will not be held responsible for any incorrectly spelt plates on the order form, made by the Customer.
   6.2 Golden Bay Personal Plates will not be liable for any changes the Customer wishes to make, once registration of the plates has taken place.
   6.2 Golden Bay Personal Plates will collect all documentation (within the Cape area), register the requested number plate (subject to availability), License the new plates and deliver all documentation and (in the case of ORN registrations)  number plates to the customer.  Delivery will be either by driver or by courier, depending on whether it is within 50kms of Brackenfell.
   6.3 The times period required will be 14 working days before delivery.

7.     ONCE OFF PAYMENT

Payment is made prior to registration of plates.

8.     EASY PAYMENT TERMS

The prospective Customer, by signing the Golden Bay Personal Plates application form, authorizes Golden Bay Personal Plates to obtain a credit reference which will be utilized in determining whether his/her order is accepted.

These Terms and Conditions may change from time to time.
